Anita Anand's new role and her political journey

58-year-old Anita Anand has been appointed to the post of Foreign Minister of Canada earlier this month. He took over this responsibility after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's recent federal election victory. Earlier, Anand was employed as innovation, science and industry minister and has many important ministries including Defense Minister. He has replaced former External Affairs Minister Melani Jolie, who is now the Minister of Industry of Canada.
